SAC Federal Credit Union, along with its partners Leo A. Daly and MCL Construction, hosted the official groundbreaking ceremony for SAC Federal Credit Union’s new corporate headquarters on August 7, 2012.  Total construction and land purchase costs are estimated to be $20 million.

Colonel Andrea Tullos from the 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base and Nebraska’s Governor David Heineman participated in the groundbreaking.  Offutt and StratCom have been partners with SAC Federal Credit Union for 66 years.

The new corporate headquarters will stand four stories tall and contain 90,000 square feet.  The facility will include a first-floor branch with both drive-up and external ATM options.  The building will allow for the consolidation of all corporate departments, which are now dispersed throughout the metro-area.  The building design will accommodate the projected growth for the next 20 to 30 years.
