Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Open House for CountryHouse in Elkhorn is Set for May 26
A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for Agemark Senior Living’s new CountryHouse Residence for Memory Care (countryhouse.net) in Elkhorn—3720 George B Lake Parkway—is set for 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26. Come enjoy appetizers and drinks, meet the CountryHouse team, and learn about what the new community offers for senior living and care! Most events will take place outside of the building, though small group tours will be available for those who undergo a brief health screening and wear required face masks. CountryHouse in Elkhorn started moving residents in on January 6 and is already home to 20 residents, with room for a total of 40 at capacity. Both private and companion rooms are available, and all residents are treated like family.
“We’re so pleased that we’ve been able to help so many local families so far,” said Executive Director Beth Gonnerman. “We’re looking forward to more residents joining our family in the upcoming months. We have a great team who is exceptionally dedicated to providing great care. We’re working hard to make sure everyone in our care is living life fully and joyfully! Residents can have visits with their families, and we’re excited that the vast majority of those who live and work in our new community are vaccinated.”
To date, residents have enjoyed a variety of events, including Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter celebrations, plus birthday celebrations, movie nights, indoor bowling, wine tastings, daily bus trips to get ice cream, drive the countryside, look at surrounding neighborhoods, etc., and various games, crafts, and art projects.
