On Thursday, Feb. 28, the newly renovated Omar Baking Company Building opened its doors for an exclusive sneak peek of Omaha’s newest event venue and customizable office spaces available for emerging businesses in the creative industry. The event space, boasting 16,000 square feet, will be available for all types of event rentals: weddings, conferences, expos, banquets and large-scale promotional or marketing events.
The Omar Building, managed by PropertyBanc, was built in 1923 as a commercial bakery and is now a perfect candidate for a creative redesign for small and large studio space, office use, fitness and wellness and a unique special events space. The building features heavy steel beams, support timbers, exposed brick and lofty skylights that brighten the interior, making it readily adaptable and marketable to prospective tenants.
