REACH Program Launches New Plan Room to Assist Small, Emerging Contractors

REACH, a program of the Greater Omaha Chamber (www.omahachamber.org/REACH), has just launched a new avenue of assistance for the small and emerging construction businesses it serves – the REACH Plan Room.

Open three times a week, the REACH Plan Room will provide a space where contractors can gain access to tools, knowledge and assistance from expert volunteers – all with the goal of helping them bid and capitalize on new projects.

A grand opening for the REACH Plan Room was held on September 28 at its home base: Metropolitan Community College’s Fort Omaha Campus, 30th and Fort Streets.

The REACH Plan Room will be open every Monday, Wednesday and Friday – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be staffed by expert volunteers from the general contractor and A&E firms, including Lamp Rynearson & Associates, DLR Group, BCDM Architects, BVH, Hawkins Construction, MCL Construction, Leo A Daly, Alley Poyner and the Architectural Offices. Volunteers to staff the plan room are being accepted.

The REACH Plan Room is for drop-in purposes, but participants are asked to sign up if they plan on visiting a certain day. For more information, please contact Savannah Cuevas at (402) 978-7929 or at scuevas@selectgreateromaha.com.
