RDG Planning & Design Announces Omaha Headquarters Expansion
RDG Planning & Design (rdgusa.com/offices/omaha) today announced an expanded headquarters in Omaha. The 54-year-old organization, which currently has offices in three states, will renovate a half-city block near downtown Omaha’s historic Old Market district. The announcement comes on the heels of a $290 million, 90-acre plan to revitalize Omaha’s Gene Leahy Mall and riverfront, just blocks from RDG’s new, headquarters at 1301 Harney St., the former Greater Omaha Chamber building.
“Our Omaha office is a nationally recognized architectural firm in Senior Living, Early Childhood Education, Health Science Education and Worship facilities, and a Midwest leader in Landscape Architecture, Community and Regional Planning, and College and University projects. “Our reach is national, but our heart is here in downtown Omaha,” said John Sova, president, RDG Planning & Design.
One of Architect Magazine’s past Top 50 Design Firms, RDG Planning & Design offers “meaningful, collaborative solutions to place-creation,” Sova said, an approach that will help guide the transition of their new headquarters, which, when finished, will house eighty employees in more than twenty-thousand square feet.
