Quarry Oaks Golf Course has partnered with The Food Bank for the Heartland and the Food Bank of Lincoln to host the 2nd Annual Show Us Your “Cans” 5K Run. The race date is set for Sunday, December 29th at 1 p.m. at Quarry Oaks Golf Club in Ashland, NE. Proceeds from the event will help support local food banks. The cost to run or walk is only $25 plus 5 canned food items. Included in the entry fee is a fleece stocking cap and a drink ticket for hot chocolate or a cold beer at the After Party by the fireplace in the Quarry Oaks clubhouse.
