The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAC), offered by the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) is excited to announce their May programming schedule of events:  

The Veterans in Business Forum will take place on May 3rd from 7:30-9 a.m. at the UNO Thompson Alumni Center, located at 6705 Dodge Street.  This event provides a chance to get to know your fellow veterans through business promotion and networking opportunities.  You can register at ptac.unomaha.edu/vetforum.cfm.

The Women Owned Construction Consortium will take place on May 10th from 8:30-10 a.m. at UNO’s Mammel Hall, Suite 200, located at 6708 Pine Street.  This event will focus on increasing opportunities for woman-owned and managed construction businesses.  You can register at ptac.unomaha.edu/wocc.cfm.

The “How to Sell Products and Services to Government Agencies” workshop will be held on May 16th from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the U.S. Small Business Administration-Nebraska District Office, located at 10675 Bedford Ave., Suite 100.  This workshop will provide the information and resources to set your business on the path to winning government contracts, and will be in conjunction with the SBA.

Finally, the FIRST workshop will be held on May 20th from 9-11 a.m. at UNO Mammel Hall, Room 201.  This is an opportunity to learn how to become FIRST in finding opportunities in government contracting and how to ensure that your proposal is complete and accurate.  You can register at ptac.unomaha.edu/events.cfm.
