PTAC is pleased to announce the following October events.

The Veterans in Business Forum will take place October 5th from 7:30 am to 9:00 am at UNO Thompson Alumni Center.  The guest speaker will be Larry Gomez, Director of Member Services for the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.  Join them for business promotion and networking opportunities and get to know your fellow veterans.

GSA Schedules will take place October 9th from 10 am to 11:15 am at Southeast Community College Entrepreneurship Center in Lincoln.  Understand the GSA program and whether it is a good decision for your business.

The Women-Owned Small Business Contracting Program will occur on October 10th from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at the U.S. Small Business Administration.  This program explains the woman-owned small business contracting program, including how to determine if your small business is eligible to participate.

How to Design Effective Capabilities Statements That Present Your Business to Government Agencies (and other customers) will be presented on October 10 from 12:15-1:00 pm at the University of Nebraska Kearney and Webinar.  Come learn what information you need to design an effective capabilities statement for your business.

The Woman Owned Construction Consortium will take place on October 12th from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at 6708 Pine Street, Mammel Hall Suite 200 in Omaha.  Join them to work together and expand opportunities for women in a traditionally male dominate arena. Help yourself and help other women in the construction business.

Winning Federal Contracts for Your Business will take place on October 18th from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at the U.S. Small Business Administration.  This workshop will help determine if there are opportunities for your small business, and if there are, how to register to participate in this $600 billion+ marketplace.
