Professional Women Connect is delighted to feature Barbara Schaefer, Former Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Union Pacific, as a guest speaker at their event on Thursday, April 25th. The event will be held at Mercy Hall, 7000 Mercy Road on the College of Saint Mary campus from 4:30-6:15 pm. Schaefer is a member of the board of trustees of Weitz Funds, a mutual fund company, and is currently chairman of the board of Children’s Hospital & Medical Center. Schaefer holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law, and has completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard University. There is a registration fee of $10 for the event, with appetizers and a wine bar provided.
