Cass County Nebraska Economic Development Council announced that the Plattsmouth Plaza development has been approved by the Plattsmouth City Council, and will be anchored by a new Hy-Vee store. The $12 million commercial development is anticipated to bring more than 100 full and part-time jobs to the Plattsmouth area.

Plattsmouth Plaza is the first development to come to fruition since the announcement of the long-awaited U.S. Highway 75 widening. The development includes a total of 12 acres on the west side of Plattsmouth and will accommodate sites for multiple retail users, with commercial space for both retail and restaurants.

The Greater Omaha Economic Development Partnership, a program of the Greater Omaha Chamber, offers a full range of economic development services with the goal of increasing jobs and investments in the Greater Omaha area.
