A Place at Home Adds New Senior Placement Services

Licensed, in-home care agency, A Place at Home (APlaceAtHome.com), is adding a new, dedicated resource for seniors called Senior Living Alternatives.

Senior Living Alternatives is a “no cost to the consumer” placement service for seniors when they are considering moving to a senior living community including those that offer Independent, Assisted Living, or Memory Care. A Place at Home provides Senior Living Alternatives through their network of senior community providers. The personalized service helps families identify and narrow down options based on such things as costs, geographic locations, care services and amenities. The free service will save hours of research and provide peace of mind for the seniors and families who are hoping to make a quality decision for the next phase of life.

In 2012, Dustin Distefano, Jerod Evanich and Paula Howard co-founded A Place at Home after researching the market and considering the needed services to the local and regional aging population. Ninety percent of seniors want to stay in their home as they age, according to AARP. With this goal in mind, A Place at Home began and is now one of the fastest growing, certified in-home care agencies in the nation.

A Place at Home, based in Omaha, opened a 2nd office in Council Bluffs in 2015, increasing their service area to the Greater Omaha-Council Bluffs area, including surrounding rural areas up to a 30-mile radius. To learn more, visit APlaceAtHome.com.
