Shauna “Sue” Tuss has been a friendly face for nearly two decades to those who bustle in and out of her store. Sue, who was diagnosed with a severe case of Rheumatoid Arthritis, came to see Cortney Sells, President of The Firm Business Brokerage with the hope of selling her well-known burrito and wrap store. The Firm privately placed the shop with well-known Omaha Chef Don Lewis, and his wife Lori Lewis of American National Bank. Their goal is to maintain the high-quality food in a clean atmosphere, with hopes of adding catering in the future. On January 15, 2014 the transaction was completed with an employee meeting to welcome the new owners. New York Burrito will remain a wonderful place for a quick and satisfying lunch, or grab it to-go for dinner.
