Pato Loco Mexican Restaurant Celebrates Re-Opening Under New Ownership

The Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce helped Pato Loco (patolocomexicanrestaurant.com) celebrate their grand re-opening under new ownership with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 12. Guests were able to enjoy free street tacos and Mexican dessert. Papillion’s mayor, David P Black, was even there to officiate the ribbon cutting.

Shannan Slobodnik is the new manager and owner of Pato Loco Mexican Restaurant. Previously the owner of Thirsty’s Pub in Gretna for two years, Slobodnik was ready for a change and decided to buy the restaurant on January 7.

Pato Loco is a family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant that is located at 120 Olson Dr. in Papillion. It has a family friendly atmosphere with a large menu, great drinks, amazing food, and the best happy hour specials. The restaurant’s hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday, 12–4 p.m. Pato Loco offers happy hour specials Tuesday–Saturday, 3–5:30 p.m. and all day on Sunday.
