Partnerships in Aging, Inc. is excited to offer training programs relevant to local businesses in the next year. The Caregiver Action Network reports that six in every ten employees have significant caregiving responsibilities for either a child with a disability or an aging relative. These responsibilities require caregivers to exert significant energy and time outside of working hours. Partnerships in Aging staff are trained Powerful Tools for Caregivers leaders. This training can be given as a series over an extended lunch or immediately following business hours to your employees to promote self-care and possibly prevent employee health concerns and stress. Contact Partnerships in Aging to schedule a meeting, and learn about ways you can better support your employees today, by calling (402) 996-8444 or by e-mailing Elizabeth Chentland at echentland@gmail.com.
