Omaha Walmart Supercenter Remodel Focuses on Convenience, Customer Service
Omaha residents got their first look at the newly remodeled Walmart Supercenter at 16960 W. Maple Road on May 4 upon completion of the much-anticipated project. A grand reopening celebration began at the store that Friday morning at 8 a.m. Customers will enjoy the following store improvements:
- State-of-the-art electronics department with interactive displays
- Refreshed pharmacy with new consultation room
- New tool department with a new look and added variety of tools
- Addition of self-checkouts at the front of the store to save customers time
- New Walmart Pickup Kiosk available to increase convenience
- Updated apparel departments with new signage and fitting rooms
- Improved produce department layout to better reflect customer shopping patterns
- New layout and larger assortment in Home department
“We’re always looking for ways to make our customers’ lives easier,” said Store Manager Gregory Armstrong. “We’re excited for everyone to come see how we are helping give time back to our customers with a new and improved shopping experience.”
