Omaha SCORE Seeking Volunteers Who Like to Meet Interesting People
Currently the opportunity is available to become a part of a national organization that provides advice and counsel to new and existing local businesses.
Pauline Stark, chairwoman of the Greater Omaha SCORE Chapter (https://omaha.score.org) said, “You don’t have to be brilliant, rich or perfect, you just have to want to make a difference. If you are successful and happy and now you are looking for ways to give back and help others, please call us.”
SCORE volunteers gain the opportunity to help make dreams happen by providing confidential business mentoring both in person and digitally. Help others learn and grow from your business experience. SCORE originally was composed of retired executives. In recent years, the organization opened its doors to actively-working volunteers.
SCORE supports entrepreneurs and small businesses through custom business mentoring. SCORE seminars and workshops help business owners meet goals, learn business concepts and achieve success. Workshops include email marketing, Quickbooks, social media and business planning. Each month “crash Entrepreneur course” covering key business topics is held.
Join over 65 Omaha SCORE volunteers. Apply your business knowledge and experience and help entrepreneurs start small businesses or achieve new levels of success in their existing businesses.
