Omaha Empowerment Breakfast to Welcome Lindsay Jordan as December Speaker
The Omaha Empowerment Breakfast (omahaempowermentbreakfast.org), a professional organization that meets on the first Friday of every month at 7 a.m. at Beacon Hills in Aksarben Village, has announced the main speaker for their December meeting. On Friday, December 3, attendees will hear from Lindsay Jordan, MNM, CFRE, founder and CEO of Write On Fundraising. Write On is a fundraising firm that exclusively serves nonprofits throughout the country. Lindsay has a master’s degree in nonprofit management and is a three-time Certified Fund Raising Executive. In addition, in 2020 and 2021, Lindsay was recognized as a Most Admired CEO by The Journal Record, as well as named the “Small Business Person of the Year” by the Tulsa Regional Chamber in 2021. Prior to founding Write On Fundraising, Lindsay worked in executive fundraising roles for several large nonprofits including the Alzheimer’s Association, YWCA, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. With more than $100 million raised for worthy causes, Lindsay works to build capacity for nonprofits, creating access points to funding for organizations of all sizes.
Representing nearly $450 billion in charitable contributions and more than $1 trillion impact to the U.S. economy, the nonprofit sector has perfected the business of doing good for people in need—but “nonprofit” doesn’t mean “no profit.” Many nonprofits are also thriving corporations with ample opportunity to partner with local businesses for even greater impact. Join The Omaha Empowerment Breakfast for a discussion on how your business can support the important work of nonprofits while also increasing your own visibility in the community, bolstering employee retention, building trust with potential customers, and much more.
The Omaha Empowerment Breakfast serves as a way for small business owners and operators to network with each other and to connect with larger businesses and agencies within the community.
