Omaha Dog Bar to Open in Little Bohemia

Omaha Dog Bar (omahadogbar.com), a dog park, bar, and eatery, announced it will officially open its doors this winter in Little Bohemia, a residential-business district just south of downtown. Omaha Dog Bar, which was supposed to open its doors early this spring, was forced to delay its grand opening until this winter due to COVID-19. Thankfully, this quirky, membership-based pet lounge will be coming to Little Bohemia before the end of the year, just in time for the holidays.

Omaha Dog Bar is the brainchild of Leah Thrasher, an Omaha resident who wanted to create a more dog-friendly community in her city. Thrasher’s vision is to bring to Omaha a place where both humans and canines can socialize together while eating and drinking. Omaha Dog Bar will feature a climate-controlled indoor dog park for your canine friend to play and socialize in for those blistering summers and frigid winters. The bar and eatery will offer a selection of domestic and local craft beers, wines, coffee drinks, and homemade sodas. The snack menu has delicious treats for both you and your pup, and local food trucks will be available on weekends. The Omaha Dog Bar will be a place for social, educational, and recreational activities for both you and your dog, including breed-specific meet-ups and regular training demos.
