Omaha Chamber Celebrates Grand Opening of Prairie in Bloom
The Greater Omaha Chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Prairie in Bloom (www.prairieinbloom.com) on March 21, which also kicked off its grand opening weekend. During this time, new customers had the chance to meet the staff and fall in love with the store’s unique home décor. In addition to scheduled remarks delivered by co-owners Lukas Rix and Mark Kanitz; Winsley Durand, REACH director for the Omaha Chamber; and Delaney Nelson, PR director of the White Lotus Group, spoke at the ceremony as well.
Prairie in Bloom is proud to officially open the doors to its first-ever Omaha location within the historic Bloom Building on 17th and Cuming St. Mark and Lukas have previously operated a successful sister store in Wayne, NE called Rustic Treasures. In early summer 2016, the two owners realized their style of farmhouse chic was a growing trend across the nation, leading them to form strategic relationships with artisans to offer both new and vintage products, specializing in farmhouse and industrial home décor items. The new location will offer customers in the Metro area the chance to enjoy an eclectic mix of handpicked vintage and new products, creating a unique shopping experience for everyone. The team is looking forward to meeting customers and revealing new products!
Prairie in Bloom is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. To learn more, go online to www.prairieinbloom.com or call the store at (402) 502-5265.
