The Omaha Bakery to Host Special Workshop
Michelle Kaiser, owner of The Omaha Bakery (theomahabakery.com), will share her inspiring story on Sunday, April 15 in a workshop titled: “You Can’t Win Brownie Points with God.”
Michelle will kick off the workshop with a short baking tutorial, giving tips and tricks on how to make her famous gourmet brownies. She will then transition into how her faith has led her to where she is today, living out her dreams of owning her own bakery.
Michelle was asked to give a similar presentation back in February as the keynote speaker for Merrick Medical Center’s 2nd Annual Ladies Night. The event was attended by almost 400 women. The response Michelle got after her talk was so positive, she decided to host this workshop so she could continue to touch lives with her baked goods and words of wisdom.
The workshop is set to start at 2 p.m. (doors opening at 1 p.m.) and will be held at The Omaha Bakery, 608 S. 72nd St., in their new event space. Admission is $25 per person and each attendee will get a delicious slice of cake, a cup of coffee, and a packet of Michelle’s gourmet brownie mix to take home. Tickets are can be reserved by going to the Eventbrite link on the workshop’s Facebook event page. Additional first-come, first-served seating will be available on the day of the event. Michelle intends to make this a monthly workshop, with upcoming opportunities to be announced. Call The Omaha Bakery (theomahabakery.com) at (402) 991-9200 for more information.
