Olympic Volleyball silver medalist Jordan Larson and Bobsled gold medalist Curt Tomasevicz will host sport clinics in five communities across Nebraska in five days from June 24-28. The clinics are part of the LiveWellNebraska.com wellness tour across the state which will also feature a Cornhusker State Games Torch Arrival Ceremony in each community. Larson will help local organizers conduct a volleyball-specific clinic and Tomasevicz will focus on a speed and agility clinic designed for all sports. All registered youths, ages 5-18, will receive a clinic shirt, an autographed photo and other sponsor gifts.Clinic Sites and Locations:
Scottsbluff – Monday, June 24 : Speed & Agility – Scottsbluff Bearcat Stadium (2502 Broadway), Volleyball – Western Nebraska Community College (1601 E. 27th St)
North Platte – Tuesday, June 25: Both clinics – Mid Plains Community College (601 W State Farm Road)
Kearney – Wednesday, June 26: Kearney YMCA (4500 6th Ave), Speed & Agility – Football Fields behind the YMCA, Volleyball – YMCA Main Gym
Grand Island – Thursday, June 27: Both clinics – Grand Island Sr. High School (2124 North Lafayette Avenue)
Lincoln – Friday, June 28: The site is yet to be determined.
