Notre Dame Housing (NDH, notredamehousing.org) recently celebrated their 25th year of service at the Health and Hope Luncheon on October 18. The luncheon was in support of North Omaha senior’s, highlighting the critical impact senior housing has on North Omaha and the broader community. KIOS Development Director Michael Lyon emceed the event.

The luncheon raised funds for NDH and their new Enrichment Center which will benefit seniors in North Omaha. The goal at Notre Dame Housing is to provide affordable housing and educational opportunities while combating isolation and food insecurity for seniors in the community.

The keynote speaker for the event was Naomi Hattaway with Front Porch Investments. Naomi is the director of communications and community initiatives for the Front Porch Initiatives. She discussed local senior housing, how the fabric of the community is strengthened through housing, and how local communities benefit when seniors are cared for.

Notre Dame Housing has provided service-enriched, affordable housing for low-to-moderate income seniors for 25 years.
