The North Omaha First Monday Forum is scheduled to begin on July 1st at noon at Chef Mike’s Community Café, located at 2401 Lake Street in the Lake Point Building, in Omaha, NE. This is Preston Love’s most recent effort to continue to enhance communication and education in North Omaha.
This new monthly community forum is kicking off its first gathering with Mayor Jean Stothert as the featured speaker. It will be her first time to speak in a public forum in North Omaha as mayor. The public is invited to this free event, and Chef Mike’s Café will have a special menu to order from before and during the forum. Attendees will pay for their own food and drink. The public is invited to take this opportunity to initiate dialogue with our new mayor about their concerns for North Omaha, its residents and issues in the entire city.
