North Italia (northitalia.com), the nationally recognized Italian concept beloved for its scratch- made cuisine, hand tossed pizzas, and stunning craft cocktails, will open its newest location in Omaha on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Marking the Arizona-born restaurant group’s first outpost in the Cornhusker State, North Italia looks forward to introducing its chef-driven favorites, value- packed happy hour and more to Omaha’s growing culinary scene.
Located within Village Pointe at 17151 Davenport Street, Suite 101, the vast dining room and open-air bar comfortably seats over 200 guests and parties of all sizes. Thanks to North Italia’s signature open kitchen format, guests in the dining room can watch the action unfold, as the expert culinary team handmakes pastas, pizzas, and other beloved dishes from scratch in-house daily. Plus, the restaurant features two covered and heated patios, each of which offers uninterrupted views of the Amphitheater.
Paying homage to Omaha’s “farm-to-fork” movement and the rich impact of Midwest farmlands, North Italia commissioned local husband-and-wife duo Sharon & Edward Manhart of Arbor Street Studios to create a stunning mural for the restaurant’s exterior, showcasing a red flatbed truck carrying a bushel of Nebraska’s state flower, goldenrods. Reservations will soon be available via OpenTable. Guests will be able to enjoy lunch, happy hour, dinner, and weekend brunch service, plus takeout, online ordering, and delivery via DoorDash. Group and private dining options are also available. For more information, visit northitalia.com.
