The Nebraska Startup Academy (nestartupacademy.org, NSA) is on a mission to educate, support and connect founders, investors and the community in Nebraska to stimulate our startup ecosystem by creating new companies and retaining talent. In addition to launching an online platform, the Academy hosts corporate pitch days to connect Nebraska companies to Nebraska startups with innovative solutions for their business.

Nebraska Startup Academy plans to double the 13 pitch days they co-hosted with the Nebraska Tech Collaborative in 2023. Executive Director Charlie Cuddy is excited to grow the organization’s impact. “We are committed to realizing the potential of our startup ecosystem. The sky’s the limit for community and economic development in connecting Nebraska companies with the innovation already in our backyard,” he says. NSA partner and Altaba CEO, Alexi Wellman adds: “Corporate pitch days began like most startups, with a few pilots with interested Nebraska businesses. With the help of both NSA and MOVE Venture Capital it has grown into a vital piece of the Nebraska startup ecosystem. We are looking forward to scaling this initiative to even more corporations in 2024 and beyond.”

Companies who would like to host a pitch day and organizations focused on the startup community are invited to contact Charlie Cuddy at ccuddy@layeredi.com. Founders interested in joining the Nebraska Startup Academy free online, educational community can sign up at go.nestartupacademy.org.
