Nebraska Sports Council Opens Registration for Omaha Corporate Games

Nebraska Sports Council has opened registration for the inaugural Omaha Corporate Games (OCG, OmahaCorporateGames.com), a company vs company competition in 12 events taking place in the months of September and October at several locations in and around Omaha.

Events include Adventure Walk, Bowling, Cornhole, Cycling, Disc Golf, Fitness Class, Fun Run, Meals From The Heartland Challenge, Pickleball, Trivia, Top Golf, and Volleyball. Companies are divided into divisions based on number of employees, and small companies may join together as combined teams. Space is limited to the first 50 registered companies.

Awards include medals in competitive sports, company banners for divisional winners and a travelling title belt for the top company overall. A leaderboard, updated after each event, is posted at OmahaCorporateGames.com and updates are provided on the OCG Facebook page.

From a company standpoint, the benefits of the Corporate Games include: wellness, team-building, company pride, hiring/retention perk and networking/public relations.

The Omaha Corporate Games are produced by the Nebraska Sports Council, which also conducts the Cornhusker State Games and the WellPower Movement. Presenting sponsors include Grinnell Mutual and the Nebraska Lottery. Companies can register or find more information, including an informational webinar at OmahaCorporateGames.com.
