The Nebraska Restaurant Association, representing restaurant members and allied members throughout the state of Nebraska, is making plans for the 2013 Taste of Nebraska on April 29th at the Strategic Air and Space Museum in Ashland.  This year’s theme will be “Up, Up, and Away!”  Tim Miles, UNL Men’s Head Basketball Coach, will be the featured speaker.

New this year will be a Nebraska Beer Tasting during the cocktail hour. Twelve different Nebraska breweries will be showcasing their beer to over 500 guests.  An exquisite menu has been prepared by Premier Catering featuring Chicken Chardonnay, Mango Chutney Glazed Pork Loin, Florentine Spinacci Lasagnette, and Carved Herb Crusted USDA Choice Tenderloin of Beef.

Guests will also be introduced to Qtego – a mobile text bidding service which will allow the guests instant real-time bidding from the dinner table, the buffet line, the beer tasting or anywhere else their mobile device will take them!
