The Nebraska Crossing Outlets are now open, and recently hosted plenty of Grand Opening events and an official ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate.  On Thursday, November 14th the first shoppers were 400 Boys Town kids who arrived by bus to purchase holiday gifts, and received backpacks filled with goodies and gift cards from the retailers.  Later that evening, the FirstLOOK Fashion Show, benefitting Teammates, featured 60 looks from Nebraska Crossing retailers.  This event was kicked off by Coach Tom Osborne, who was a guest model, and was attended by over 300 guests who shopped the center for the first time at the conclusion of the fashion show.  On Friday, November 15th the official ribbon cutting with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Gretna Chamber of Commerce was held at 8:30, with a press tour of the center and “Future of Retail” talk with OTB Destination Principle, Rod Yates directly following the ceremony.  At 10 a.m., the Nebraska Crossing Outlets officially opened to the public with live remotes, DJs, and giveaways all day including Husker tickets and a Land Rover Evoque!
