Airbnb (airbnb.com), the world’s leading community-driven hospitality company, announced that its Nebraska host community earned a combined $2.5 million in supplemental income while welcoming approximately 22,000 people to the state in 2016. The guest arrivals to the Cornhusker State via Airbnb represents an astounding 120 percent year-over-year growth. This comes as Nebraska’s increasingly embrace the home sharing platform as an opportunity to earn supplemental income and make ends meet.
