NAWIC Recaps August Golf Tournament
The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC, www.nawicomaha.com) Greater Omaha Chapter 116 and the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) held its 2021 golf tournament on Tuesday, August 24, at Indian Creek Golf Course in Omaha. 212 golfers enjoyed the well-conditioned golf course at the sellout event.
This is the NAWIC Chapter’s largest annual fundraising event, and all proceeds received are used to support construction industry events and educational opportunities, including scholarships. NAWIC Gr. Omaha is in the middle of a five-year goal to fund endowed scholarships at Metropolitan Community College, The University of Nebraska System, Southeast Community College, and Wayne State.
