The Greater Omaha Chapter #116 of the National Association of Women in Construction (www.nawicomaha.org, NAWIC) is gearing up for a successful 2024. Since the beginning of the year, NAWIC has already hosted its annual Block Kids event in January and celebrated Women in Construction from March 3 – 9 with a week-long series of events. This included recognizing achievements, community outreach activities, a luncheon at Metro Community College and a jobsite tour at Joslyn Museum.

Looking ahead, NAWIC has a diverse lineup of events planned for 2024. In April and May, there will be educational programs and recognition for NAWIC student members. Summer will feature jobsite tours and networking opportunities for members. In August, NAWIC will co-host its annual golf outing. As fall approaches, there will be a guest speaker addressing suicide prevention, along with the installation of the 2025 board members and identification of committee chairs.
