NAWIC Greater Omaha Introduces New Logo, Inducts 2020-21 Board of Directors
In August, the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC; nawicomaha.com) introduced its new logo and provided each of its 118 chapters—including NAWIC Greater Omaha Chapter No. 116—with their own personalized logos. At the September 10 luncheon meeting of the NAWIC Greater Omaha Chapter, held at Pizza West in Omaha, the Chapter also inducted it 2020-21 officers and Board of Directors:
- President: Ashley Meirose – University of Nebraska Medical Center
- Vice president: Claire Andreesen – McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.
- Secretary: Diane Fields – self-employed
- Treasurer: Pam Bevins – Frank Bevins Painting, Inc.
Other members of the new Board of Directors include: Vanicsa Czarnick, Project Control; Jennifer Harris, JE Dunn Construction; Karli Meisinger, Eyeman Plumbing Heating and Cooling; Lori Ruzicka, The Harry A. Koch Co.; Michele Shearer, Habitat for Humanity; and Sarah Tufly, Freedom Specialty Contracting, Inc.
The core purpose of the National Association of Women in Construction is to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry.
