MOWBC Invites Entrepreneurs to NEF’s 7th Annual From Startup to Success Event

The Metro Omaha Women’s Business Center (MOWBC, mowbcf.org) invites entrepreneurs to attend the seventh annual From Startup to Success event, hosted by the Nebraska Enterprise Fund, on Friday, October 15. From 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Abide Better Together Campus on N 45th St. in Omaha, three panels of entrepreneurs representing less than five years of experience all the way through 20 years in business will be sharing their experiences, struggles, and success from startup to now! This event is an opportunity to gain insight and knowledge on relevant topics for entrepreneurs in the making, startups, and existing business owners.

From Startup to Success will feature a marketing session, social media guidance, vendors, resource agencies, and more. This year, there are two phenomenal keynote speakers: Dr. Martin Williams and Carmen Tapio. Dr. Martin is a senior pastor at Ambassador’s Worship Center, CEO, author, business owner, teacher, and more. He will open the conference and energize and challenge the attendees to get moving and get to work. Just do business and do it well. Carmen is president and CEO of North End Teleservices, and she will encourage, inspire, and challenge attendees to take what they’ved learned and apply it.
Immediately following the event, there will be a networking social hour with heavy finger foods, beverages, and two bands for entertainment. Tickets can be purchased for $20 on www.nebbiz.org or Eventbrite.com; search “From Startup to Success.”

The Metro Omaha Women’s Business Center was established in 2008 and has served more than 5,000 women with business training, events, stories of success, powerful lunch speakers, and annual grants for emerging women entrepreneurs.
