Baxter Arena Virtual Tour Now Up on Google

The Baxter Arena at the University of Nebraska at Omaha has its virtual tour up on Google thanks to MIT Images 360 (mitimages360.com).

The arena contracted with Omaha-based MIT Images 360 to shoot 360-degree panoramic photos of its interior. The photos were put through Google’s Streetview software and the result is a beautiful virtual tour of the interior of the arena.

Arena staff decided they wanted the virtual tour to improve the online presence of the Baxter Arena on Google and give people a vision of what the arena interior looks like.

MIT Images 360 uses Google Streetview technology to shoot business interiors, which are placed on the business’s Google pages. Google research shows the tours increases web and foot traffic and improves a company’s search engine optimization.
