The Millard Business Community Foundation Scholarship provides $1,000 scholarships to one student in each of the following four Millard Schools: Millard North High School, Millard South High School, Millard West High School and Skutt Catholic. The “We Are All Patriots” Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to a Millard area high school senior who has shown success in overcoming adversity. New this year is that the Foundation has added a second “We Are All Patriots” Scholarship so that we can help six Millard Area students this year. The application deadline for all scholarships is March 20, 2013. Scholarship applications can be downloaded off of the Millard Business Association’s website www.MillardBusinessAssociation.org.
Millard Business Association also announces their 10th Annual MBA Gala will take place on April 25, 2013 at the Georgetowne Club. The event kicks off at 5:30pm with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by dinner and an awards ceremony. Following tradition, the MBA will honor six business men and women with distinguished awards, present four $1,000 scholarships to Millard area graduating seniors, recognize individuals for helping others in our community, and induct individuals in the Millard Hall of Fame.
