Millard Business Association Announces Date for Board Elections, After Hours Event

Thursday, October 18 is the date slated for the Millard Business Association’s (MBA) (millardbusinessassociation.org) 2019 Board elections and Business After Hours. The elections and networking event will both be held at Millard Manor, 12835 Deauville Dr., in the Promise Room (parking is on south end of building) and will run from 5 to 7 p.m.

The MBA board positions that will be voted on are president elect, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. Following the elections is MBA’s After Hours socials are held regularly at different locations around the community, giving local business representatives the opportunity to build relationships with fellow professionals.

The MBA was founded in 2003 by a group of business owners that recognized the possibilities for networking and community development that existed in the Millard area for companies and their employees. The organization strives to continually improve and connect the business community and members to each other while sharing knowledge and expertise that will benefit the entire community. While MBA members can join referral groups and participate in social events, they are also encouraged to give back to the community. The group’s membership has grown to more than 400 businesses that represent virtually every industry in the area and businesses, both small and large.
