Midwestern Gastropub Tavern 180 Adds 4th Location in Sioux Falls

Tavern 180 (tavern180.com), an Omaha-based restaurant/bar chain known for its modern posh venue, outstanding prime steaks, and classy cocktail bar, will be opening its fourth Midwest location at The Galleria at 69th and Western in Sioux Falls this summer. Along with the expansion, Sioux Falls-based investment firm Crescent Capital Holdings has taken an equity position in Tavern 180.

The gastropub’s new location will occupy about 3,000 square feet as one of five retail spaces on the first floor of The Galleria, which is under construction on the southwest corner of 69th Street and Western Avenue. Tavern 180 has three additional locations in Iowa and Nebraska, including both Lincoln and Omaha. The restaurant’s unique concept, referred to by staff as a ‘180 from the typical,’ consists of dishes including Wagyu beef sliders, Prime steaks, and a signature Wagyu hanging beef tenderloin.

Happy hour delivers some unique offerings, including the ‘Tavern Bubbles,’ a delicious fruit-flavored cocktail that bubbles, smokes, and has to be seen to be believed. Tavern 180’s full bar area also offers some classic twists on old favorites, like the Sazerac, its take on the traditional Old Fashioned.

The restaurant, founded in Omaha by Brett Clure, focuses on an exceptional dining experience with a mix of approachability, luxury ambience, and atmosphere. “We feel we’re a perfect complement to all the other exceptional surrounding businesses in The Galleria, and we can’t wait to serve Sioux Falls,” Clure said.
