Omaha original Brix, the city’s “complete wine and spirits experience,” is on the verge of completing its vision for the new Midtown Crossing location as they will formally debut the area’s premier outdoor patio the week of May 13th. In the works for months, the patio will include: seating for 158 people, three different fire pit areas with cushioned, soft seating, an outdoor bar with a full cocktail menu, a mix of high and low-top tables, and fabulous Turner Park or city views. Owner Dan Matuszek designed the innovative Brix concept, which brings three complimentary businesses together under one roof – a full-menu Bistro; a wine, beer, spirits “and more” retail store; and a state-of-the-art event centre. Matuszek expects patio space to be in high demand during Jazz on the Green and other outdoor events in Turner Park.
