Mark Aupperle of Aup Landscape would like to announce that he is entering the race for Democratic Nominee for the Second Congressional District U.S. House of Representatives.  He made this announcement on February 12, 2014.  Aupperle’s mission, if elected, is to restore the faith of the people in the federal government by assuming a leadership role in establishing a culture of compromise, cooperation and bipartisanship in the House of Representatives.  He also plans to influence the federal government to pass much-needed tax and spending reforms in order to balance the national budget in five to ten years.

Aupperle has lived in Omaha for many years; however, he was raised in Anita, Iowa where he graduated from Anita High School.   After graduating from Morningside College in Sioux City IA with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.  He later graduated with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.  Aupperle currently owns and operates a small business (Aup Landscape) in Omaha, which he founded in May of 1987.
