Liberty Tax Service is pleased to announce they held a Cell Phones for Soldiers Roadside Party and Phone Recycling Event on February 24th. Liberty tax provided food, Coca Cola, and other fun and prizes and free tax advice. Their goal was to collect 500 phones.
Cell Phones for Soldiers makes contact with home a reality for soldiers stationed in Iraq and overseas who face excessive calling charges. This dilemma prompted two concerned teenagers to start CPFS with $21 of their own money. They have enlisted their friends and family, sponsors and phone companies to recycle used cell phones to provide calling cards.
