Liberty First Credit Union Opens First Omaha Branch Location

Liberty First Credit Union (libertyfirstcu.com) recently opened their first branch in Omaha, at 5011 S 108th St., and as the company continues to grow to meet members’ needs, they hired six new staff members for the new branch, as well as additional loan officers to serve their members in the Lincoln area.

Liberty First was originally chartered as the Burlington Employees Cooperative Credit Association in 1935 and served the employees of the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad. Over the years, Liberty First’s field of membership has grown to include family members, retirees, select groups of occupation and association, those living or working in Lancaster or Seward County, and those related to a member or someone within their field of membership. As their membership has grown, Liberty First has continually expanded their range of financial products and services to provide members with the services they desire.

Liberty First Credit Union is a full-service financial institution. Not-for-profit and member-owned, they offer everything from checking and savings to personal and mortgage loans.
