Let’s Eat Opens Doors in Downtown Papillion
On December 12, a new permanent pop-up restaurant—Let’s Eat (letseatpapio.com)—hosted its grand opening at 110 N. Washington St. in downtown Papillion—but if you’re conjuring visions of a standard café with a go-to menu, you’ll be surprised. The unique Let’s Eat take-and-go concept sports a new menu each week, in a non-traditional restaurant that features a variety of cuisines by showcasing up-and-coming local chefs, seasoned chefs, restaurants, and specialty cooks and bakers. You’ll find something new and different every time you stop in, but all of the delicious food is first-come, first-served, so get down there early or order ahead to guarantee that you get to enjoy your favorite dishes. You’ll never get bored with the menu, because there’s always something new to eat!
Let’s Eat is owned by Papillion resident Jeanie George who envisions the concept as something that can bring community together and help educate people about a variety of different foods. Let’s Eat doesn’t accept cash, and they highly recommend pre-ordering online because they have quickly discovered that they do sell out. If you want to keep up-to-date on the schedule for featured foods and dates or place your advance order, visit letseatpapio.com or follow them on Facebook (@LetsEatPapio) and Instagram (@Let’s Eat).
