Lending Link Supports the Community with Free Tax Preparation Amidst COVID-19
Up until July 15, Lending Link (lendinglinkomaha.org) will be offering free tax preparation to anyone in the Omaha community. They are also providing up-to-date information regarding stimulus checks and answering questions of how to move forward in these economically uncertain times. Lending Link is here for low- to moderate-income individuals and households with education, coaching, and affordable, alternative loans. Now more than ever, they are trying to protect the financially vulnerable from the perpetual cycle of debt and repayment.
Lending Link’s vision is for Omaha to become a community where everyone has access to safe, affordable financial products and service as well as the knowledge to use them well. Their programs and services strive to teach basic financial and debt management, transition clients away from predatory lenders, and guide them to achieve long-term financial health. Many systemic and individual problems can cause difficult financial situations such as a lack of access to mainstream forms of credit, income inequality, banking industry changes, and more. No matter your situation, Lending Link is here to help. Their office is located at 4706 S 24th or you can learn more at lendinglinkomaha.org or call (402) 557-5965.
