A German-Russian research day will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., across from Cooper Park at The American Historical Society of Germans from Russia (AHSGR) (ahsgr.org) at 631 D Street.

Community members have the opportunity to come and do some research into their ancestors or take a look around the museum and visit the AHSGR bookstore. Appointments are not required but are encouraged, and one can register by going to AHSGR’s website, ahsgr.org.

For more information on this topic, contact Amber Mikkelsen at amikkelsen@ahsgr.org or Karen Keehr at kkeehr@ahsgr.org, or visit ahsgr.org.

AHSGR’s mission is to discover, collect, preserve and share the history, cultural heritage and genealogical legacy of German Settlers in the Russian Empire. As experts on German Russian heritage, AHSGR is dedicated and passionate about continuously discovering new information and sharing it through a plethora of online and in-person resources.
