The “beloved cult brand” that provides late-night warm cookies opened the Omaha location’s doors on March 30. The new Insomnia Cookies ( store is located at 11th and Davenport Sts., near Creighton University’s campus.

The grand opening started at noon and went until 3 a.m. Those who visited recieved one free classic cookie in-store and one classic cookie free with their delivery. “Insomniacs” will also be able to get free delivery, using the code OMAHA.

Other prizes and giveaways took place throughout the grand opening ceremony.

Insomnia Cookies, a big dream, was born in owner Seth’s little dorm room. And from that first melty, warm, delicious bite, not only was a company launched, but an entire category too, redefining the late-night, delivery-focused, food-service industry as we know it. And the dream continues so many years and so many cookies later. They are still serving up sweet rewards to the daydreamers and warming the after-parties of the night-doers, growing a community of Insomniacs who love to stay up late. Learn more at
