The Hotel Deco, Omaha’s newest hotel and only luxury boutique property, commemorated its official opening with a series of Grand Opening events the weekend of June 10 – 12, 2011.
A Grand Opening Gala event – “Hotel Deco Revealed” took place on Saturday, June 10. The Gala celebrated the rebirth of the Hotel and its distinctive heritage as a historic property listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Featured at the Gala was an exciting lineup of entertainment including three Broadway performers. Nicholas Rodriguez, Paul Canaan, and David Barrus performed and presented a vibrant and dynamic evening of jazz. An exquisite food and beverage offering was presented by the Zin Room restaurant.
A dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Friday, June 10.
