Heartland Women’s Network Monthly Meeting Set for May 17

The next meeting for Heartland Women’s Network (HWN, www.heartlandwomensnetwork.com) is set for Tuesday, May 17 beginning at 11:30 a.m. This month, they will feature Sasha Patricia Berscheid, founder of Project International, Inc., as the guest speaker. Project Intentional provides resources to women who otherwise might not be able to afford them during the holiday season. The May meeting location can be found at www.heartlandwomensnetwork.com.

Monthly lunch meetings feature engaging speakers on topics of interest to members, along with networking opportunities. They are open to non-members. Recent speakers have included David Brown, CEO of the Omaha Chamber; Katherine MacHolmes, founder of k+r strategies; Quinn Texmo, who works in business development at Turner Construction Company; and Pam Hernandez, founder and president of The Right Reflection.

Heartland Women’s Network provides the structure women in the Heartland need to grow professionally and personally. Partnering with nonprofit organizations is an important part of HWN’s mission. Each year, members select an organization to support financially and through volunteer opportunities. Rejuvenating Women was selected as the 2021 nonprofit partner. Lili Shim, HWN’s 2021 director, recently presented the organization with a check for $1,500. This year’s nonprofit partner is Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha. To register for the May luncheon, learn more about the organization, and/or find out how to become a member, go to www.heartlandwomensnetwork.com or connect with Heartland Women’s Network on social media.
