Following the success of its initial fashion venture, the Douglas County Historical Society will host its second annual luncheon and runway show on Saturday, March 10th 2012 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Entitled “Happily Ever After:  Wedding Dresses and Traditions,” the runway show will highlight wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses and other clothing of matrimonial ceremonies from the 1890s to the 1970s. The event will be held at the Swanson Conference Center at the Institute for Culinary Arts, on the south end of the Fort Omaha campus of Metropolitan Community College.

It will include lunch prepared by the school’s culinary students.  Tickets are $50 for members or $55 for non-members.
