The Greater Omaha Chamber’s Annual Meeting was recently held on January 27th at CenturyLink Center Omaha. David G. Brown, Chamber president and CEO, shared the Chamber’s 2014 highlights, preview plans for 2015 and welcomed keynote speaker Mike Corbat, CEO, Citi, the world’s global bank with approximately 200 million customer accounts.  Corbat presented “The Role of the Financial Sector in Supporting the US and Global Economies: 2015 and Beyond,” sharing the unique perspective he has gained from traveling the world and running a global business.

Another Annual Meeting highlight was the traditional presentation of the following awards:

Chairman’s Award of Excellence: Tim L. Riewer, Bank of Nebraska
Recognizing an individual who has produced exceptional Chamber membership sales and retention results

Headliner of the Year Award: Creighton University Recognizing an individual or organization that has improved the Omaha area by contributing to its national visibility in a positive way

Volunteer of the Year Award: Clark Lauritzen, First National Bank of Nebraska Recognizing individuals who have given beyond expectation in the leadership of important Chamber initiatives
