Gordmans Welcomes Omaha Shoppers to Grand Opening Celebration

Apparel and home décor retailer Gordmans, a division of Stage Stores, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration November 1. Gordmans, located at 14933 Evans Plaza in West Grayhawk Shopping Center, continued the festivities throughout the whole weekend.

Attendees joined Gordmans associates and representatives from Stage Stores, Greater Omaha Chamber, and Omaha Public Schools at the ribbon-cutting ceremony before stepping inside the new 43,000-square-foot store to discover the fun finds and exciting deals on name brand apparel, home décor, and more available at Gordmans.

Additionally, as part of Gordmans’ commitment to the Omaha community, Gordmans is partnering with Omaha Public Schools and will donate $5,000 to the district. Gordmans’ donation will directly support the Omaha Public Schools Foundation, which is creating an awareness campaign to highlight the district’s STEAM programs that encourage student involvement in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts and math. A representative from Omaha Public Schools attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony to accept Gordmans’ donation through a check presentation.
